We didn’t set out to just build a resin company; we set out to solve a problem for the modern Indian maker. For years, independent artists and home decor businesses in India had to make a difficult compromise. They either had to work with toxic, petroleum-based chemical systems like epoxy resin, or rely on expensive, hard-to-find international imports that lacked local support.
From our roots as a small workshop in Hyderabad, we saw an opportunity to bridge this gap. ARTRISO was founded to provide a third way: a professional-grade, water-based material that respects both the artist’s health and the environment, without compromising on quality or strength.

THE SCIENCE OF CALSO ONE
At our specialized facility in Hyderabad, we engineered a breakthrough in material design. Traditional eco-resins are two-part systems requiring precise measurements of liquids and powders, which increases shipping weight and user error.
We developed CALSO ONE as an advanced “Single-Component” system. By integrating the high-performance acrylic polymers directly into our base powder, we created a true “Just Add Water” formulation. This not only significantly reduces the carbon footprint of shipping heavy liquids across India, but it also provides a foolproof, repeatable ratio for the artist.
Furthermore, we specifically calibrated the formulation to thrive in the varied temperatures and high humidity of the Indian climate, guaranteeing a porcelain-like, stone-smooth finish every time.
